Reframe
Notice. Name. Do not negotiate.
An intrusive thought is not a decision, a desire, or your identity. It is weather passing through. You do not have to argue with it or obey it — just let it pass without engaging.
Renew your mind
Breathe. Understand the thought instead of fighting it. Move through these three slowly.

Scripture
“We take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.”
2 Corinthians 10:5
Mindset shift
Label it out loud: 'That's an intrusive thought, not me.' Then return your attention to something concrete — your breath, a task with your hands, or a spoken verse.
Or name something else
“You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast.” — Isaiah 26:3
